Musashino University's Department of Entrepreneurship (EMC), established in 2021 as Japan's first and only entrepreneurship-focused faculty, proudly participates as a selected university in Tokyo's startup strategy "Global Innovation with STARTUPS." EMC actively contributes to the "University-led Startup Creation Support Project," fostering entrepreneurial initiatives both locally and internationally.

About the Event: The EMC Manila Pitch Event invites students from universities, graduate schools, technical colleges, and vocational schools in Metro Manila to showcase their entrepreneurial prowess. Participants will pitch innovative business ideas before a panel of judges, comprising industry experts and investors. This event aims to foster cross-cultural exchange and mutual growth among young entrepreneurs from Japan and the Philippines.
Prize for Filipino Students: The Filipino student who emerges as the winner of this event will receive an exclusive invitation to the EMC GLOBAL SUMMIT in Japan. EMC will cover the cost of round-trip airfare and accommodation for this student. Meals and other personal expenses during the stay will be self-funded.
Organizer: The event is organized by TechShake, Asia's largest Philippine-based startup ecosystem builder. With a proven track record in connecting startups with investors and mentors, TechShake provides advisory services and media support to nurture entrepreneurial spirit in the Philippines.

- Q: Are travel tickets and accommodation expenses to Japan self-funded for the winning student? A: We will support selected students with travel expenses to the destination and accommodation. Meals and other personal expenses during the stay will be self-funded.
- Q: What level of business idea is expected? A: Please consider ideas that can be practically implemented. And also We are open to ideas at the idea stage.
- Q: Do you allow group participation? A: Group participation is not permitted. However, group representatives may apply. And if the representative wins, he/she can invite one person from the group to participate in the final pitch in Japan.
How to Apply: Interested students must submit their business ideas by the application deadline of July 31. Applications should include a brief description of the business idea and its practical implementation.
