Bangkok, Thailand – June 26, 2025 — TechShake proudly participated in the Japan-ASEAN Startup Business Matching Fair 2025, partnering with Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL) to lead the screening and invitation of standout Philippine startups. The collaboration solidified TechShake’s role as a key connector in driving cross-border innovation across the ASEAN ecosystem.


A Regional Movement in Motion


Held in Bangkok last June 26, 2025, the Japan-ASEAN Startup Business Matching Fair 2025 gathered innovators, investors, and ecosystem builders from across Asia for a day of meaningful startup connections. Spearheaded by Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL), a member of MUFG, a global  financial group, the fair is recognized as the largest startup business matching platform in the region—built on strong collaboration between public and private sectors from Thailand, Japan, and ASEAN. Among its participating partners, TechShake proudly took part in the mission, spotlighting Philippine startup talent and taking the lead in curating and screening participants from the country.


The Japan-ASEAN Startup Business Matching 2025 featured a full-day program of startup pitch sessions, organize business matching, and regional ecosystem dialogues. all designed to spark collaboration across borders. Backed by partners such as METI Japan, AMEICC, Tokyo SME Support, DEPA Thailand, NIC Thailand, DTI Philippines, MUFG banks, ITIC Taiwan, JETRO, and the Embassy of Japan, the event reflected a shared push for regional innovation. Key speakers namely H.E. Mr. Akanat Promphan, Minister of Industry, Royal Thai Government, Mr. Kazuhisa Takeuchi, Mayor of Kitakyushu City, and Mr. Narit Therdsteerasukdi Secretary General, Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) were also present at the event.

Representing the Philippines were Duon, Sprout Solutions, and InsightGenie, each bringing innovative solutions from indoor wayfinding, HR and payroll management, and behavioral profiling for lending and hiring. Beyond startup support, TechShake Co-Founder and CEO Kotaro Adachi engaged in key discussions with major players such as CP Group, SCG AddVentures, ECG Venture Capital, Fuchsia Venture Capital, True Digital Park, A2D Ventures, PTIC Thailand, and several Thai government and corporate innovation teams, strengthening ties that pave the way for long-term regional synergy.

Alongside this, Krungsri reaffirmed its position as a key player in Japanese Corporate Banking, further strengthening Thailand’s investment momentum and deepening the Japan-ASEAN connection toward a more sustainable and future-ready economy.
